Coryn Gonzales (2019), Academic Success Coach, The Ohio State University, as a first-generation college student, first in her family to obtain bachelor’s degree and the first to pursue a master’s degree she requested the professional development scholarship to help with the cost of attending the annual NASPA conference. Gonzales wanted to attend the conference to empower herself by gaining valuable information as a professional that she could use to improve current practices at her institution
